1. Our role
OJSP does not provide medical care. This is a support and education programme run by a company that sells Ayurvedic products. We are not your doctor, not a clinic, not a hospital, and not a healthcare provider.
Our staff are support staff. They are not permitted to give medical advice, and nothing they say is medical advice.
Where a qualified dietitian or doctor associated with the programme selects a calorie level or reviews a chart, they do so in a professional capacity within the limits described in Patient Safety §10. That is not a doctor-patient relationship and does not replace your own doctor.
2. Who may use the portal
- You must be 18 or over. Diabetes in children and adolescents is managed by paediatric specialists and this programme is not appropriate.
- You must be in India, or satisfy yourself that use is lawful where you are.
- You must be under the care of a doctor for your diabetes. This portal is not a substitute for having one, and if you do not have one, getting one matters more than anything here.
- Register for yourself, or as a carer with the patient's knowledge (§15).
3. Your account
- Registration is by name and mobile number, verified by OTP.
- We will never ask you for your OTP. Any message or caller that does is fraudulent — report it.
- Keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under it.
- Your health information is in this account. Consider who else can see your phone.
- Tell us if your mobile number changes, so someone else does not receive your messages.
4. Your medicines
Continue every medicine your doctor has prescribed, at the dose prescribed, until that doctor tells you otherwise.
Nothing on this portal, no OJSP product, no improvement in your readings and no member of our staff is a reason to change your medication. Stopping diabetes medication without medical supervision can cause severe illness and death.
If anyone connected with OJSP suggests otherwise, that is a serious breach of our rules and we want to know immediately — [email protected] See Patient Safety §3.
5. No monitoring
When you enter a reading, nobody sees it in real time. There is no clinician reviewing entries. There are no automatic alerts to anyone. A dangerous reading entered at night is read by nobody until you act on it.
- Readings are stored so you can see them and show them to your doctor.
- The portal does not interpret readings, does not say whether a number is safe, and does not know your target range.
- Never delay contacting a doctor because you entered a reading here.
- Emergency guidance is displayed where readings are entered. Read it.
6. Your entries
- You are responsible for what you enter. Enter readings accurately — a record with wrong numbers is worse than no record when you show it to your doctor.
- Corrections are recorded alongside the original entry rather than replacing it, so the record stays trustworthy.
- The portal does not verify entries and cannot tell that a number is implausible.
- Entering data is not a substitute for testing as your doctor advised, or for attending appointments.
- You may export your record at any time, and you should take it to your appointments.
7. Diet charts
- Charts are general dietary guidance, not personalised prescriptions.
- A calorie level may only be selected by a doctor or qualified dietitian — never by sales staff, support staff, or you alone (Patient Safety §10). The portal records who selected it.
- Charts do not account for kidney function, other conditions, allergies or your medicines.
- Where a chart conflicts with your own doctor or dietitian, follow them.
- Do not use a chart if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have kidney disease, liver disease or heart failure, without your clinician's approval.
- Charts are for your personal use. Do not redistribute them.
8. Products
- OJSP products are Ayurvedic products intended to support general wellbeing alongside proper medical care. They are not medicines for diabetes and do not treat, cure, control or reverse it.
- Use them as stated on the label. The label prevails over anything said anywhere else, including by any staff member or distributor.
- Tell your doctor you are taking them, and show them the label.
- Where products are purchased, that purchase is governed by the terms of the store you bought from, not by these Terms.
- Participation in this programme is not conditional on buying anything, and no staff member may suggest that it is.
9. Contact with our team
| Our team can | Our team cannot |
| Help you use the portal | Advise on any medicine, dose or timing |
| Explain a product and how to take it per the label | Suggest reducing or stopping a medicine |
| Answer questions about orders and the programme | Interpret a reading or say if it is safe |
| Direct you to your doctor | Diagnose, or comment on symptoms |
| Share approved educational material | Select or suggest a calorie level |
If you describe something urgent, our team has one answer: contact your doctor or call 112 immediately. They will not assess you, will not reassure you, and will not tell you to wait — because they are not qualified to, and pretending otherwise would be dangerous.
10. Your responsibilities
- Stay under the care of a doctor and attend your appointments.
- Take your prescribed medicines as prescribed.
- Test as your doctor advised, not only when you feel like it.
- Enter accurate information.
- Tell your doctor about every product and supplement you take.
- Act immediately on danger signs — do not wait for anyone here.
- Report any unwanted effect (§13).
11. Prohibited use
You must not: use the portal if under 18; register on someone's behalf without their knowledge; share your account; enter another person's data as your own; publish or redistribute diet charts or programme material; make or share claims that OJSP products treat or cure diabetes; use the portal to sell or promote anything; scrape it; probe its security; or use it unlawfully.
12. Content on the portal
Educational content is general information, not medical advice, and is not a substitute for your own doctor. It cannot account for your circumstances. Where content shows a reviewer and date, it was checked then; medical understanding changes.
All content is subject to the Content & Communication Policy, which prohibits any claim that an OJSP product treats, cures, controls or reverses diabetes — a prohibition that comes from the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, under which diabetes is a listed condition.
13. Reporting a problem
Report to [email protected] if: you experience any unwanted effect you think may relate to a product; anyone suggested you reduce or stop your medicines; anyone made a cure or treatment claim; a calorie level was selected by someone unqualified; or something in the portal seems wrong.
Acknowledged within [24] hours. Suspected adverse events are triaged immediately, recorded, investigated and reported to the authorities where required.
If you are unwell now, seek medical care first and report afterwards. Reporting never affects your participation and is never held against you.
14. Your data
This portal holds health information — readings, medicines, food, concerns. How it is handled is in the Privacy Policy. In summary: held in India, never sold, never shared with anyone outside the programme without your consent, and never used to train AI models.
15. Family members and carers
- A carer may use the portal on a patient's behalf with the patient's knowledge and agreement, and should identify themselves as such.
- The patient's data belongs to the patient. A carer must not use it in a way the patient would not agree to.
- We will not discuss a patient's information with a family member without the patient's consent, including a spouse or parent of an adult patient.
- Where a patient lacks capacity, contact [email protected] so the account can be configured appropriately.
16. Availability
The portal is provided on an "as available" basis without uptime commitment. It may be unavailable for maintenance or other reasons. Nothing about your diabetes care should depend on the portal being available — keep testing, keep taking your medicines, keep your appointments.
17. Fees
Participation is [free / as stated at registration]. Products are purchased separately. Participation is not conditional on purchasing anything, and access does not end if you stop buying products, unless we discontinue the programme entirely.
18. Intellectual property
OJSP retains all rights in the portal, its content, diet charts and the marks used. Charts and material are licensed to you for personal use only, and may not be copied, published or redistributed. You retain rights in the data you enter, and grant us a licence to store and process it to run the programme.
19. Warranties
We warrant that we will operate the portal with reasonable skill and care.
OTHERWISE THE PORTAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE GIVE NO MEDICAL OR CLINICAL WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PRODUCT WILL HAVE ANY EFFECT; THAT ANY DIET CHART IS SUITABLE FOR YOU; THAT YOUR CONDITION WILL IMPROVE; THAT ANY READING IS ACCURATE OR CORRECTLY RECORDED; THAT ANYONE WILL SEE WHAT YOU ENTER; OR THAT THE PORTAL WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
20. Limitation of liability
20.1 WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
20.2 SUBJECT TO 20.3, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED [INR amount] OR AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE PRECEDING [TWELVE (12)] MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
20.3 THE CAP DOES NOT APPLY TO BREACH OF CONFIDENTIALITY OR DATA PROTECTION OBLIGATIONS, OR TO WILFUL MISCONDUCT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE.
20.4 NOTHING LIMITS LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED — INCLUDING YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2019.
20.5 We are not liable for: any decision you take about your medicines; any consequence of delaying medical care; any reading not being seen by anyone; any dietary change you make; or the acts of any doctor or dietitian you consult. These Terms and the Patient Safety Statement tell you clearly that nobody monitors you and that medicines must not be changed — this allocation follows from that.
21. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from: your breach of these Terms; data you entered about another person without their consent; your redistribution of programme material; or any claim you made about an OJSP product.
22. Suspension and closure
- You may close your account at any time. You may export your record first, and we recommend you do.
- We may suspend or close an account for breach of §11, for use by a minor, or where necessary for someone's safety.
- We may discontinue the programme on [30] days' notice, with an export window.
- Closing your account does not delete records subject to retention obligations — see Privacy Policy.
- Sections 14, 18, 20 and 21 survive.
23. Governing law and disputes
Governed by the laws of India. We will try to resolve any complaint through our grievance process first. Nothing removes your right to approach a consumer forum or any other remedy under law. Subject to that, the courts at [city, State] have jurisdiction.
24. Grievance redressal
